به گزارش ایرنا به نقل ازاداره كل بین الملل و تشریفات مجلس شورای اسلامی ، این نشست قبل از دومین اجلاس مجمع عمومی نمایندگان مجالس آسیا – اقیانوسیه كه طی دو روز آینده در تهران برگزار می‌شود، با حضور ا عضای كمیته اجرایی (FASPPED) از كشورهای جمهوری كره، مالدیو، بنگلادش و همچنین ناظرانی از سایر كشورها، به همراه مقامات یونسكو تشكیل شد.

در این نشست 'علی عباسپور تهرانی فرد'، رییس كمیسیون آموزش و تحقیقات مجلس شورای اسلامی و رییس كمیته علمی مجمع نمایندگان مجالس آسیا و اقیانوسیه برای آموزش (FASPPED) با عنوان رییس این نشست به ارایه گزارشی از فعالیتهای صورت گرفته از دو سال قبل تاكنون كه ریاست این مجمع به عهده‌ی جمهوری اسلامی ایران گذاشته شد پرداخت.

وی با تاكید بر اهمیت موضوع آموزش در مناطق آسیا – اقیانوسیه اهتمام بیشتر مجالس این مناطق جغرافیایی به ویژه تخصیص بودجه‌های خاص به آموزش مناطق محروم و روستایی در جهت تحقق هدف آموزش برای همه كه از اصول بنیادین برنامه اقدام این مجمع می‌باشد را خواستار شد.

در ادامه این نشست همچنین دستور كار مجمع عمومی و نیز برنامه اقدام پیشنهادی این مجمع از سوی پارلمان جمهوری اسلامی ایران برای فعالیت دو سال آینده آن مورد تصویب اعضای كمیته اجرایی قرار گرفت.

دومین مجمع عمومی نمایندگان مجالس آسیا – اقیانوسیه برای آموزش (FASPPED) با حضور برخی روسای مجالس، روسای كمیته‌های آموزش و سایر نمایندگان مجالس آسیا – اقیانوسیه طی روزهای دوشنبه و سه شنبه (11 و 12 اردیبهشت 91) در تهران و با حضور علی لاریجانی رییس مجلس شورای اسلامی برگزار می‌شود.
